When it comes to your health, you are often on your own.
The God of Energy
The God of religion is, in many ways, a reflection of what each religion believes. In the Star of Light philosophy, the true God is the God of Energy, because everything is energy. Ultimately, that energy is what we all possess.
We define spirituality as the wise use of energy to create health, happiness, and well-being. Hopefully, people recognize the difference between believing in a religious concept and learning to understand the energy that exists within themselves.
Believing vs. Facing Reality
It is one thing to believe in stories such as Santa Claus and his reindeer; it is another to face reality. Consider the American medical system. Patients often have to fight for the care they want. Healthcare is frequently expensive, and while doctors are trained to diagnose problems and prescribe treatments, those treatments often focus on managing symptoms rather than addressing the underlying causes of illness.
The Problems We Create
As a society, we create many of our own problems. We create stress by building lives centered on work instead of sharing the abundance that already exists. We introduce chemicals into our food and then wonder why chronic diseases, including cancer, have become so common. In many cases, it is possible to trace an illness to contributing environmental or lifestyle factors.
The Hundred-Year Lie
One book that explores these ideas is The Hundred-Year Lie by Randall Fitzgerald. The book argues that the chemical industry has concealed the dangers of synthetic chemicals found in food, medicine, and the environment, contributing to widespread health problems. Fitzgerald examines the history of these practices, discusses the risks associated with many food additives and processed foods, and offers suggestions for detoxification and healthier eating.
Money, Profit, and Compassion
Money often drives many of the decisions that affect our food supply, our environment, and ultimately our health. The desire for profit can overshadow the desire to help others. For those who place capitalism above all else, compassion and sharing may become secondary concerns.
Living in Illusion
Many people live in a reality shaped by memories, advertising, social media, politics, and the opinions of others. We are constantly surrounded by stories, marketing, and beliefs that compete for our attention. From a spiritual perspective, much of this is simply noise, bright, colorful, and emotionally stimulating, yet often disconnected from what truly nourishes our minds, bodies, and spirits.
Each day we are exposed to messages from the news, businesses, governments, and countless other sources, all attempting to shape our perception of reality. Society often repeats the same patterns and mistakes because it is slow to learn from its past.
In many ways, we have become people living in illusions, accepting beliefs and narratives without questioning where they came from or whether they serve us. The answer, in my view, is to create your own reality. Use the energy that God has given you, develop your own understanding, and take responsibility for your health and well-being.
The Essence of the Star of Light
This is the essence of the Star of Light.
Rather than allowing religion, marketing, or social pressures to define your life, learn about your body, your consciousness, and your energy. Build a reality based on personal experience, self-awareness, love, and peace.
Truth Is Enough
Truth is sufficient in and of itself.
Perhaps it is time to recognize the difference between truth and illusion and to stop allowing someone else’s version of reality to define your own.
