I am siting in my favorite chair right next to a roaring fire that is warming the house. It is early in the morning and I started to reflect. What is this life all about? I am 77 and soon 78 and I feel I have a right to express myself and share my thoughts through my eyes. Reflecting or you can say meditating, is the first thing I do and it is early before anyone has gotten up and the house feels quite. It is dark outside and soon the sun will bring its many colors over the bay that I see clearly on a bright day. I feel good and almost like I am many years younger. I know its an illusion and I think of a song called Alfie, where it states that what is that all about? Is this what life really is?
We Are Each a Ball of Energy
I though about it for a while. We each are a ball of energy and have a period of years to use it to express who we are and let other people enter into our life. It is not negative, it is just the way that it is. The Star of Light deals with one’s energy under the theme of spirituality and it properly reflects what life is about. It starts with developing your ego, creating some relationships, and sharing moments with family, friends and children. You may get married, be lucky to have kids and work for money doing a job that you like and then its over. What did you really do. Whatever you have done, you just take it to the end and then you die.
Watching Life Through a CPA’s Eyes
What you see is people falling by the wayside for whatever reasons. Often health and personal issues like someone dying around them. I am a CPA and am involved in a lot of clients selling their business and calling it a day. They take their money and often go on trips or just deal with their body and problems that has brought them problems from cancer, stroke, heart attach or some other energy related activity. I notice a lot of my friends and acquaintances read my blogs and often posts pictures of activities in their life. Such as a trip, a new marriage, the death of a friend or some poem or other thing. There are numerous days when I get 100 or more notifications and comments and after reading them, I am not sure why so many have been posted.
Putting Love and Peace First
I wonder who has the time to do that with so many images and comments. I find myself always busy and involved in doing something. I can’t imagine where I would get the time to share my experiences that bring emotions and other feelings. So I do these blogs and write books. For those that post stuff, it has to be a large part of their daily life. The stuff is interesting, but there is only so much you can take. Especially if they post their opinions about the world’s politics or some other thing going on. In reality, I put everything in last place next to thinking about love and peace. You can only be so happy with this world and you have to make your own happiness out of life, as there are so many things in the news that are bad.
Managing Your Own Life
Yes you can believe in religion and pray. It will give you some comfort. But managing your own life is what I have found life to about. Do you know the things that you want to do and do it before you are too old to appreciate the activity as so many things just end up slipping away. An example like your kids moving out of your home to live their own lives and leave you with lots of memories. For me, I like writing blogs and telling people what I have learned, if anyone is interested.
Finding Joy Before Time Runs Out
I am amazed that many are! I can’t help but think of all the happy moments this project has bought me and it has filled up much of my free time. Not for money, but for joy. I hope that you find what works for you before it is too late and then your options become limited, as you body changes and you just can’t do what you once did. Especially when you were young and filled with vitality. It is like you only have so much time and if you manage it well, you can create what you want to make out of life.
