A solitary human figure surrounded by energy and light in an infinite cosmic space

The Star of Light – There Is Nothing There

I felt compelled to write about the idea that, for those who believe in religion, about 74% of the population, there may, in fact, be nothing there. All major religions are human constructs. The gods in the Bible are created figures. There was no Exodus from Egypt led by Moses. Jesus was a Jewish preacher who, long after his death, was shaped into something more during the Council of Nicaea. Muhammad did not live in Mecca as we know it today, as there was no Mecca at the time of his birth. His story was developed hundreds of years after his death by people more than 1,000 miles away who had never met him. It is believed he lived in Petra, Jordan. Abraham, considered the father of many, is said to have lived thousands of years before he was later credited with building the Kaaba. So what are we left with? Only ourselves.

Energy Is What We Are

We are all made up of energy, and energy is what we should seek to understand. From birth, we practice its use, when we move our bodies and when our parents feed us what they believe is nourishing. Energy becomes easier to understand when broken into components that affect the body.

We can think of these components as:

  • Our Core Star of Light, which represents our connection to God and is centered near the belly button
  • Consciousness, which is the mind of God and directs energy
  • Spirituality, which is the application of energy across our mental, emotional, and physical dimensions, our brain, heart (feelings), and body
  • The soul, which is our ability to use energy within consciousness

A Framework Rooted in Truth

This is a simple framework, but it is meaningful. God, in this sense, is part of our being. However, our minds still have much to develop, especially those of our leaders, if we are to better understand and apply these components of life. Spirituality gives us a way to address everything that affects us. I challenge anyone to present a more meaningful and practical set of energy-based concepts for understanding the human body.

Living as We Were Designed

Our bodies are all we truly have. If we lived as they are designed to function, we would exist in harmony and cooperation, much like our cells do. In many ways, they are wiser than we are. Instead, we fight, act out of fear, and try to control people and resources. Conflict continues around the world, and little has changed. Our hope lies in raising our level of consciousness to embrace compassion and kindness.

I have a friend in Florida who funds a large organization focused on kindness. He cannot enter politics there due to the prevailing mindset, but he can promote kindness, and that is a powerful start. Treating people with respect can lead to meaningful change. Right now, corruption and the desire to get ahead distort our priorities. If we want love and peace, we must create them ourselves, as few leaders today seem capable of doing so. If you take action to support the well-being of others, you embody the qualities that generate love. When this is aligned with nature, it brings peace.

The Challenge Before Us

I know some people say the Star of Light is nonsense, but I challenge them to offer a better framework than one rooted in energy and truth. It is difficult, because many people resist confronting the truth. Instead, we spend our lives pursuing money and pleasure, leaving the real work for future generations. In many ways, we have become what our parents warned us about. It was up to us, and we have not done well.
