I was listening to an Edgar Cayce tape describing what the Akashic Records reportedly reveal about Jesus’ death. I was blown away. According to this account, the church may have kept certain details hidden for thousands of years. It suggests that Jesus and Mary Magdalene played key roles in a planned sequence of events.
A Sequence Hidden in Plain Sight
In this version, those involved in Jesus’ crucifixion may also have played a role in saving him. He was allegedly given plant-based medicine that caused him to appear dead while his vital functions remained active. He was declared dead after approximately six hours, much shorter than the traditional belief of three to six days, and then placed in a cave. There, as the effects of the medicine wore off, he revived. Mary Magdalene is said to have played a key role in helping him leave the tomb and recover.
Guards were allegedly bribed to leave the area before Jesus was taken away. In this interpretation, the entire sequence surrounding the crucifixion may have been planned, as Jesus was aware he would be crucified. With the help of wealthy supporters, the event was orchestrated in advance.
Reincarnation, the East, and a Different Kind of Truth
You may or may not accept Edgar Cayce’s channeled readings, but it is an intriguing perspective. In this view, the idea of resurrection takes on a different meaning. It is suggested that Jesus gained much of his understanding through years of study in the East, learning about life and death. Cayce also claimed that Jesus had lived many prior lives, possibly as many as thirty.
In Eastern traditions, reincarnation was widely accepted. In this interpretation, Jesus and Mary Magdalene may have sought to introduce new spiritual ideas to the Western world.
The narrative also includes the idea that the journey to the crucifixion took place along a public road, allowing Roman authorities to display the event openly. The two individuals crucified alongside Jesus were, according to tradition, criminals, reinforcing the idea that no one was above the law at the time.
When combined with accounts of Jesus’ birth and early life, some interpret these stories as later constructions shaped by religious institutions. Many Christians accept the crucifixion as historical fact, while in Islamic tradition, Jesus is not believed to have been crucified in the same way.
When Truth Gets Distorted
This raises broader questions about how history is written and preserved. Today, we also see how leaders use propaganda and narratives that may be incomplete or misleading in order to influence and control populations. It is troubling how often truth becomes distorted throughout human history.
There are even interpretations involving ancient figures such as Enki and Enlil, suggesting that humanity has long been influenced by competing forces and corruption dating back to ancient times.
The Foundation That Never Changes
In contrast, we believe that the only reliable foundation lies in the principles of energy, what can be observed, experienced, and verified. This is the true “God” we should understand and work with as we improve our lives. We already interact with these principles in everything we do—through food, sleep, rest, and exercise.
It seems that much of history may contain distortion or incomplete information, and humanity continues to pay the price through ongoing conflict and war in places such as Europe, Russia, and Iran. When will we learn? At our current pace, perhaps never. Still, the Star of Light’s One Love philosophy offers guidance in moving toward greater awareness and peace.
