Being thankful for what you got is a amazing concept. Most of your life, especially under society’s laws, you try and get as much as you can. The capitalistic system supports the natural instinct of the hunt. Nature knows only cunning and strength. But there is more to it than not. Our cells work together to support our body with unconditional love. This is really in contrast to our social systems that emphasize profits.
When Life Feels Like It Might Be Over
Last year I had a stroke and I thought thinks where pretty much over in terms of being able to do what I wanted, which was to receive acknowledgement for what I had done. I have run a CPA firm for over 50 years and I had given a lot away to help other people, so I didn’t end up with a lot left over. It is true that there were years when I earned over a million a year, but I spent it all in living a hedonistic life.
I look back over the last year and someone seems to be looking out after me. I had a very mild stroke. Tried retiring, but didn’t like it. I like the ego satisfaction of helping people and I felt that my time wasn’t up. I decided to come out with my years of research on our history, and produced 5 books in about 3 months, figuring that it might be over soon.
How the Star of Light Was Born
Then I decided to engage a very talented web designer and we brought out the Star of Light. Since November of last year, we gains about 25 thousand followers and millions of hits. I started to write about Jesus and I must say his ability to help people seemed to occur to me. I now have to think of being a pastor and talking about love and peace, which is what Jesus preaches. The CPA firm, even with me working part time is up 10% over last year and it all amazes me. I am very thankful where it has lead me.
A Backyard That Became a Sanctuary
I kind of think of it like our backyard. I had an idea to carve out a path to walk each day and that lead into creating a two trails over our 157 feet in the year back and forth. Then I built a little alter with Buddha and put flowers on the steps that lead up to his spot. I also put an angle on our hill to oversee everything. It lead into put flowers all over our year and transformed our property by just doing what I was feeling. I look back and it is amazing.
Giving It All Away as a Gift
I have written over 200 blogs and love telling people about love and peace. It seems so natural yet hardly anyone seems to practice it. Looking back over the last year, I can’t help but be grateful for what has happened and it didn’t involve money. I give the Star of Light books and blogs away for free with all of its rituals and proverbs and prayers. I get a lot of comments about trying to monetize it, but its a gift to society. Society needs to know how it started and where our citizens came from.
What Near Death Experiences Reveal
The idea of Jesus being the soul, or some say God looking over earth seems to make sense after watching hundreds of near death experience. The people weren’t lying. What use to be books that you read on this type of spiritual environment is now all on YouTube to watch for free. The world is really starting to change. Be grateful for it as there is a lot to be thankful for.
