A beam of soft light descends upon a person in prayer, symbolizing the connection between human intention and universal consciousness.

Spirituality – Prayer

Whether you follow a traditional religion or the Star of Light philosophy, prayer is a powerful tool. Its purpose is simple: to help you communicate with the Divine. Through prayer, you offer gratitude, acknowledge your path, and ask for guidance in the areas of life that matter most.

Communicating with the Mind Field

In our discussion, “God” is the mind field of energy known as consciousness. However, these same principles apply whether you are praying to Jesus, Moses, or Muhammad. At its core, prayer is a heartfelt emotional experience where you surrender to a higher force. In organized religion, that force is often a protective parent; in One Love, it is the power of consciousness shaping who you are.

How to Structure Your Prayer

Prayer helps you visualize change by aligning your intention with divine assistance. I find a simple three-step process works best:

  1. Acknowledgment & Gratitude: Begin by recognizing the source of love and light that gives you life.
  2. Heartfelt Intention: State what you need—whether it’s healing from a cold, clarity during stress, or success in a project.
  3. The Human Contract: Close by stating what you will do to help bring that prayer into reality.

The Hierarchy of Energy

This process isn’t just spiritual; it’s a reflection of the hierarchy of energy found in nature. It combines intentional, mental, emotional, and physical components. This is the same creative flow we use in the Vision Map (V-MAP) found in our free books.

Living the Prayer

For those in organized religion, remember: the highest form of prayer is action. Kindness, caring for others, and helping those in need are how you anchor your prayer into the physical world. You are judged not by what you say, but by what you do.

I pray every morning and night. It brings a sense of clarity, peace, and confidence that carries me through the day. By setting aside time to invite assistance from something greater than yourself, you open your internal energy system and let peace flow in.
