After spending days watching videos and following the unfolding news about North Korea, China, Russia, Venezuela, and Cuba, it’s hard not to be deeply moved by the current state of world affairs. So many people are suffering, yet now, in several places, there’s a real possibility of change. I have numerous friends from these countries, and many have been crying as they reach out, struggling to cope or sending what little money they can.
My Persian friends have been devastated by the violence in their homeland. My friends from Russia can hardly believe how dire their country has become, both militarily and economically, especially in the ongoing war with Ukraine, which continues to devastate lives and infrastructure.
My travel buddies from Cuba are finally seeing glimpses of possibility for restoring electricity and running water, essential needs that have been compromised for years amid rolling blackouts and energy shortages. In Venezuela, decades of corruption have left the population battered by economic collapse and chronic power outages, yet there is relief among many that longstanding oppression may be coming to an end.
North Koreans, especially women, live under conditions far more restrictive than most people can imagine, cut off from basic freedoms and opportunities, with limited access to everyday necessities. (North Korea continues to be one of the most isolated regimes in the world.)
Meanwhile, global geopolitics are intense. The U.S. plays a central role in international affairs, and there are secondary players like Japan, Israel, and Ukraine involved in regional conflicts. (Recent developments include significant actions involving Venezuela and international responses.)
Yet here we are, calling for love and peace. I’m not always sure who we’re speaking to, but in the past month over half a million people have become aware of thestaroflight.com and its message, and we now have more than 7,500 followers.
What Do I Make of All This?
We are souls who have agreed to serve, and both the earthly and spiritual realms are watching how we act. I’ve noticed that about three-quarters of souls on Earth are just beginning their spiritual journey, with only a small percentage being highly advanced. Who would willingly come to a world where millions of lives are being harmed and the air, land, and oceans are being damaged?
If you stay positive, you know that consciousness, the light, will ultimately prevail. Love and awareness can overcome darkness. But many earthly leaders seem entrenched in destructive power. It can be hard to fathom how many people have been killed defending their freedom and ideals, for example, there are reports of thousands killed in Iran’s protests against authoritarian repression.
Where Do We Go From Here?
The information is out there, we know what it means to be conscious, to act with love, and to strive for freedom and peace. Who would have believed that someone like Trump could be central in these changes? Perhaps this transition is part of a larger plan, something the soul world is guiding. We are in a great transition, a time of change.
I remain optimistic that even in a changing and challenging world, we can learn to live with greater love, peace, and understanding.
