In the Star of Light logo, the inner mandala features a symbol for the heart. It’s a central circle with three intersecting circles forming three Vesica Pisces shapes. This represents how consciousness influences our mental, emotional, and physical selves.
The Power of the Heart
In Celtic tradition, this is the Triquetra, symbolizing eternity and spiritual wholeness. We use it to represent the emotions fueled by the heart—what we call love. The heart works effortlessly, processing information much faster than the brain. It shapes your hormones and your entire state of being.
When two people in love stand face-to-face with their chakras open, their energy naturally forms this heart symbol. It is a force to be reckoned with.
The Toroidal Field
The heart isn’t just a pump; it emits a massive toroidal energy field shaped like a donut. This field stretches out about 15 feet, connecting you to everyone around you. I learned this through HeartMath, an organization that studies how to synchronize the heart and brain so we can function at our peak.
I remember being in Mexico with my son, standing before 400 people. We were able to achieve “heart-brain coherence” in minutes, while others struggled. It’s a skill that can be learned, and it changes everything.
Living in the Heart
I’ve spent time with Drunvalo Melchizedek, who teaches a five-day workshop on Living in the Heart. The goal is to move your consciousness out of your head and into the small, sacred space at the center of your heart.
When you do this, your body relaxes instantly. Within five minutes, your perception shifts. You stop seeing the world as separate and start seeing how interconnected we all are. You find the love and peace we talk about in the Star of Light.
How to Practice
The process is simple:
- Relax your body completely.
- Gently move your awareness from your brain down to your throat.
- Let it sink further into your lungs and finally settle in your heart.
When you get there, you’ll see a different world—one filled with love and peace. It’s so beautiful that it can actually be hard to come back to the “real world” of conflict. But bringing that heart-energy back with you is exactly how we heal the Earth.
