The joke goes that my predictions might only last until the end of the week, but it’s still fun to try.
Geopolitical Shifts and the Future of Russia
I’ll start with the world stage. I predict that the Ukrainian people, along with the EU, will ultimately prevail against Russia and gain lasting freedom. Putin will fall, and the remnants of the Soviet Union will continue to break apart. China has long desired Russia’s western regions and is increasingly asserting its power.
The State of the United States
The United States is in a mess. An isolationist policy is tearing the country apart. Canada, Mexico, and much of the EU have distanced themselves from us. In the international arena, cooperation, not force, is what wins. Trump’s health appears to be deteriorating, and he may become even more unpredictable, if that is possible.
New Trade Hubs and Global Alliances
The area around the entrance to the Red Sea will see major changes. What were once considered third-world countries will emerge as power centers for global trade. Israel has set up a military base in Somaliland after recognizing it following 30 years of ambiguity. Ethiopia is also asserting its influence, and we will see shifting alliances throughout the year. Piracy along the coast that has disrupted trade will likely be tempered. We may see similar developments around the Panama Canal, or even new ways to ship products. Time will tell.
The Search for Individual Peace
The big question remains: will love and peace spread throughout the world? If they do, it will have to happen at the individual level. Too many countries are engaged in economic warfare, claiming to protect their people while leaders often enrich themselves instead. Corruption remains prevalent in most countries.
Medical Advancements and Modern Challenges
I enjoy making predictions about medicine because it directly helps people. We will see new medications and vaccines as the world becomes more polluted and strained. New diseases will emerge, some introduced intentionally or unintentionally, while others will be fought off. Humanity’s desire to control the body will continue as stress increases and meaningful dialogue declines in favor of self-interest.
Technology, Space, and Pollution
There will also be new technologies that reshape transportation, including different types of car engines and more satellites in space. Space itself is becoming a junkyard. First we polluted Earth, and now we are polluting space. The race to control everything will only accelerate.
Economic Realities and the Stock Market
Business will continue much as it has. Large international companies will keep selling their products regardless of economic crashes. Companies like Coca-Cola, Gillette, and Johnson & Johnson, with strong global trade, will likely continue to do well. People will keep playing the stock market, hoping to pick the next winner, good luck. Insider information, deception, and manipulation will persist, often among key players rather than benefiting small investors. Still, people will always dream, speculate, and play the stock market and the lottery. As the American middle class continues to shrink under tax pressure, that won’t change.
Political Evolution and the Decline of Religion
There may be political surprises in the U.S., with Democrats replacing the MAGA movement and current Republican leadership. Their track record has been poor, and many of their stated goals can only be achieved through cooperation—not by being outliers in the political arena. Change everywhere is a safe prediction as populations grow and religion increasingly becomes a theme of the past. Traditional religion does not offer the solutions needed in a technological age.
The One Love Program and Spiritual Energy
The One Love program will continue to expand. More people will come to realize that energy has replaced the traditional concept of God, and that by understanding and working with energy, we become one with God. This merges humanity with the divine rather than keeping them separate, as most religions do. I am excited to see what unfolds. The future will be shaped by economic forces directed by people themselves. New and better relationships will be essential, and we offer a way to make that possible.
Final Thoughts for the Year Ahead
We wish you the best with your own predictions and hope that when you look back a year from now, you get a few right. Best of luck. We believe One Love is our best solution for sanity.
