As we grow older, we naturally start reflecting on the meaning of our lives. Memories take us back to places we loved and moments we enjoyed—a favorite vacation or time with someone special. These moments live vividly within us, even when we can no longer return to them.
Thinking for Yourself
I have a friend in Northern California who teaches Sutras. We often discuss how we evolve in our awareness. To mature is to start thinking for yourself. You don’t surrender to anything external; you surrender to who you truly are—an expression of consciousness. In scientific terms, you are surrendering to the energy and vibration that drive your feelings and behavior.
The Five Concepts of Awareness
My friend spoke about Kundalini Shakti, the intelligence within consciousness. He shared five foundational concepts that explain how our reality works:
- Creation: Bringing something into existence.
- Preservation: Nurturing your life, business, or goals.
- Reabsorption: When a focus dissolves back into your being.
- Concealment: When a previous reality hides as a memory.
- Revelation: Connecting the pieces together to see the truth.
The Rhythm of Attention
Where you place your attention is your reality. When you focus on a task, it is “created.” When you shift your focus, that reality is “reabsorbed” into your being as a memory until you need it again. This is the rhythm of life. The Divine gave us the ability to manifest what we want, but also the grace to let things fade when they no longer serve us.
God is Energy
At the foundation of this is the God of Energy. What we call “the mind” is actually an expression of God’s mind. This is very different from traditional religion. We aren’t worshipping an institution; we are becoming aware of reality itself.
In One Love, we use this energy to create a vision. We use V-MAP—a mission statement and a plan—to take action. It is fascinating how closely this modern logic aligns with ancient Sutras. They speak the same truth: everything you need already exists within you.
