One of the backbones of the Star of Light is our level of consciousness. Our goal is to get people up the levels of love and peace. Most people talk about consciousness as being aware of what is going on. This is true if you have that insight, as people are often biased and not aware of the issues at hand.
We now define consciousness as embedded energy patterns in nature. This concept came from David Hawkins and his Human Map of Consciousness, published by the Institute of Spiritual Research. They use body kinesiology to find different levels. You can do it yourself with a pendulum.
Chakras and Consciousness
We also see and like the positive and negative emotions of our chakra system as definitions of consciousness. The chakras are your subtle energy centers. The best book in our opinion on the system is Barbara Ann Brennan’s Hands of Light and Light Emerging. It took us about three years to study her work.
The seven positive emotions are trust, pleasure, empowerment, love, truth, wisdom, and connection to God and your higher self, which is the soul.
The negative aspects are fear, guilt, shame, grief, lies, illusion, and disconnection to higher forces.
We explain all about chakras in Book 1, but the positive forces we call Chakra Angels and the negative ones Chakra Demons. They can substitute for the HMOC chart of the 17 emotions that is all over the internet and also in One Love’s Book 1. It is good to keep a copy near your computer for reference.
Levels of Consciousness
Both of these tables are compared to Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. They all give the themes that are in different levels of consciousness. Maslow is a little more basic; however, he was on to the same concepts.
Love and Peace
Some aspects of love are forgiveness, compassion, and cooperation. People associate it with heartfelt emotions. Heartfelt emotion is an internal mechanism that gives you insight.
The HeartMath Institute in California has numerous books on what that mechanism is all about. Peace is a state of being where you are basically in the energy flow found in nature.
Can you imagine a world of love and peace? We can, and that is why we started One Love.
The Star of Light Connection
We named it after Bob Marley’s song that we danced to in Jamaica. But we all have a Star of Light located near our belly button, making us all SOL Brothers and Sisters.

A Real-World Example
Let me now give you an example — the Ukraine–Russian war. I have been following this due to my grandparents coming from the Kiev area. President Trump believed for a while that it was Ukraine who invaded Russia when it was, in fact, the other way around. He has now realized it and has given Ukraine weapons. His awareness went up.
As far as consciousness, both are below 200 — there is no cooperation and war is going on. There is no trust or cooperation. They are so far from love and peace that it is a crime either one is in power.
