Spirituality – Spiritual Service

So what is spiritual service? I give the Star of Light information away free as a service to others. All the blogs, of which this is blog 235 since November to help others. There is really nothing I get in return except satisfaction and a lot of questions about Jesus and our parents the Anunnaki. The key item about spiritual service is that you are helping others with no strings attached. If it helps others, then it is good.

It is an act of faith in what you do, just try and make it useful. In the Star of Light, it has gotten million of hits and has between Facebook and Google about 25,000 followers. AI says Spiritual Service its about putting the needs of others a head of of yours. That is partly true, as you get do get satisfaction out of what you do. So you do get something in return. But it is intangible.

Small Acts of Kindness That Support a Community

I have friends that distribute excess food from Farmer’s Markets and people that give dinners away free. It is somewhat an act of kindness and it supports your local community. You can look at it from an ego point of view, where people think that you are a good person and often good things come to good people. I helped sponsor some people and it was a great thing in their lives. The have become good clients and their life has changed.Characteristics of spiritual service is to improve people’s energy and help them become more whole. From food kitchens to seeing people that need you for free.

I remember when I was you and needed help on what to do what I thought I got someone pregnant. I remember the attorney just giving me advice and didn’t charge me. I have since passed on that trait to others. It is contagious.

Teaching People to Fish

A lot of people do podcasts on all types of healing topics and they help a lot of people. Think about what you can do. Religions often have charity type programs and service a lot of people. I think education is the answer as you can give people food to eat, say a fish, but when you teach them to fish, they can take care of themselves. A very vital function!

The Man on the Street Corner

For years, there was a person who would solicit money and other things on a street corner. I talked to him and found out his interests. Much to my surprise, he was not on drugs or some other type of addiction and we wanted to do Greatful Dead t-shirts. So I bought him a sowing machine and help finance his t-shirt business. He has since thanked me and has moved on to making a living out of kindness. I figured that I give him about $20 dollars a week and often more.

I looked forward to hearing his stories as he was a cool guy even though he has some life troubles. I miss him as he has gone on and is no longer at the street corner. He has been replaced by other beggars, but they don’t have his personality and spirit for life.

Give Love and Love Returns

If you do something for society, don’t expect any return, if it involves love, you often get love in return and to a certain extent that makes you feel good. Many of us like doing this sort of thing, probably because they have had a good life and consider themselves fortunate. I sure do. Try giving love to someone and see what happens. My guess is you will get at least an equal amount of satisfaction back based on what you give.
