One Love – Everything Is God

I want to reaffirm the idea that everything embodies God, our bodies, plants, animals, and all of life. In the Star of Light, love is God; there is no separation between the two. Peace comes from loving yourself and realizing that you are part of God. Once you understand this, the next step is to live accordingly. In other words, you are an expression of love.

Love, Energy, and the Soul

Love is the ultimate goal of the soul. Its purpose is to gain the energy that enables it to resonate with God. This is why we refer to God as energy. God is everywhere because everything is energy.

Rethinking the Nature of God

These definitions have significant implications. Traditional religions often portray God not as energy, but as an advanced human-like being who judges others. We refer to these beings as the Anunnaki. According to our understanding, they created humanity in their own image, but gave us relatively short lifespans of around 100 years compared to their much longer existence.

From the perspective of the Star of Light, the religions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam have misunderstood important aspects of spirituality. Jesus was a highly conscious individual who recognized the divine nature within all people and taught others to do the same. His teachings, in our view, differ from what many religious institutions later came to represent.

The Divine Within You

Jesus taught that God is within you. Because of this, we do not need an institution to act as an intermediary between ourselves and God, nor do we need rules about heaven and hell imposed from the outside. One of the easiest ways to access this inner connection is through meditation, which helps quiet the mind and allows you to experience your true nature.

Heaven and Hell as States of Being

In this philosophy, heaven and hell are not physical places. They represent your relationship with God. You are in heaven when you resonate with God and experience unity. You are in hell when you feel separated and believe that you are apart from the divine.

The Star of Light is more than a religion. While it offers a perspective on our spiritual history, its primary purpose is to translate spiritual truth into everyday language. Through 64 Scriptures, it seeks to help people better understand themselves and their connection to God. These teachings provide practical substance to the philosophy.

The Soul’s Journey Through Reincarnation

The idea of reincarnation is that the soul uses the body as a vehicle for learning lessons about energy, love, and its divine nature. Once those lessons are fully understood, the soul no longer needs to incarnate. In a sense, it evolves into a higher state of being.

We have written hundreds of blogs exploring different aspects of this philosophy, many of which encourage people to accept themselves exactly as they are. Self-acceptance is an essential step in recognizing your connection to God.

The Wave and the Ocean

A beautiful analogy for the soul was given by Edgar Cayce. He compared the soul to a wave and God to the ocean. The ocean represents consciousness, or God, while each wave represents an individual soul. Every wave is unique and exists for a time to experience individuality. When a wave reaches the shore and dissolves back into the ocean, its separate form disappears, but its essence remains part of the whole.

Likewise, when a human life ends, the soul either reunites with the greater consciousness or takes on another form to continue its growth and learning. I appreciate this analogy because it helps us understand that while we experience ourselves as individual beings, we are ultimately part of the same divine source. Just as every wave is water, every living being is part of God.

Everything Is God, and War Is a Misunderstanding

Everything that is alive is part of God. From this perspective, war becomes a tragic misunderstanding of our shared nature. When one person harms another, they are ultimately harming a part of the same greater whole. Life is precious, and each soul is here to learn, grow, and evolve.

Whether humanity will fully embrace this understanding remains uncertain. History shows that conflict continues across the world, and wars are still being fought on many continents. Yet there is reason for hope. As individuals become more conscious of their connection to one another and to God, perhaps we are gradually moving toward a more peaceful and loving future.
